Map Editor - Custom Single player always Techlevel 1

I remember old days when i used community Editors to create som Single Player Missions for RA. Now with the new Editor i am just as confused than back in those days. How do i make a singleplayer cus...

The map editor lacks a lot of functions. If you open up the map file in notepad you should be able to change tech level manually.

So you are able to launch custom RA missions then? Because when I press the Play button nothing happens.

can you upload your map somewhere so i can have a look into it? I am able to launch those Maps - but for some reason as i already said, techlevel was 1.

I extracted an Original campaignmission (alliance Mission 2), opened it with the Editor and saved it witout changes -> Techlevel 1 is forced. I should be able to build Rak-Troopers and medical Infantry and sandbags….but i cant.

Something seems to overwrite the Mapsettings. May be the Folder for Custom Missions is only made for Custom Maps for Skrimish? Ill try to add Techlevel with an Texteditor but i get a weird Feeling About that.

The missing things are the TechLevel and IQ lines under the countries. Look in the original missions to see how they're added.

Those should really be added to the editor, yes.
