Moving Base

When moving base how are the points accumulated for the next move, and how often can you move given that the nearest forgotten base is -75 distance away from my base.

You don't use any "points" when you move a base.

Instead, base movement is limited by a few factors.

    1)  You will have a basic maximum of about 20 spaces in any direction to make a simple base move.

However,  you cannot land on top of, or next to any other base or any POI.   You are also not allowed to land in territory that is controlled by anyone - except your own alliance territory.  ( you can land in neutral territory, or your alliance's.. not forgotten lands, and not another alliance land.)

    2) Time.   When you move your base, you will be held there in a "cooldown" period for a while.   If you are just starting out with a level 10 or 11 base, then you might be able to move again in 2-3 hours.   As you build up,  a level 28 base might take 20 hours before you can move again.

.. so the level of your base can make the cooldown a lot longer. Some players say it has a lot to do with the number of buildings on your main base. I'm not usre if that is absolutely true - but I see some players who like to move a lot will only build 20-24 buildings,  not the 40 allowed as maximum.

If you use the special "relocate player" option on the world map, then you are put into a cooldown of many more hours. This lets you jump or "teleport" all your bases into a new sector at one time. All your bases are locked down from moving for 12 hours, and protected from player attacks ( a new shield!) for 24 hours. Each time you use this "relocate player" button, you will be prevented from using it again for a longer and longer period.. (days). NOTE: each time you move; your recovery or cooldown period will reduce your production as well as prevent you from moving again. This discourages a lot of moving unless you have other ways to get resources. As to the "nearest forgotten base 75 spaces away".. don't fret about that. You need to build up strength. If the forgotten base is Level 20, you should have a level 17 or higher offense to attack them. ( more or less.. strategy, luck, and bonuses can play into this.. and some bases are just stupid with massive defenses) . Practice by taking on Outposts or " OP"s. If you see a tunnel exit that is close to your level ( less than +6 from your base level and army level)- approximate- .. park a base near there.. 4-6 spaces away should be close enough, right next to it is fine, too. In 12 hours or so, the Forgotten will start building outposts near you. The OPs will be close to the level of the tunnel exit. OPs are much more profitable than camps, but not quite as tough or profitable as Bases. Build up your level a bit faster by attacking outposts instead of bases of similar levels. Once you do move toward the forgotten base - you should have a better idea about strength and some strategies needed.
