My custom maps has been disappeared

Hello!

We have a few custom maps, that we have designed in the 90th with original RA.

Now, with C&C Remastered, we wanted to play these maps again in our multiplayer games against AI.

I have loaded the maps (the original maps are .mpr files) in the new map editor and saved them. After this, the .tga and the .json files appears.

Then I learned, that I have to publish the maps in steam, to see them in my multiplayer games (withot publishing, I only saw them in skirmish).

I tried it with 3 maps, 2 of them appeared in the game after a few hours, one map has not appeared (I do not know the reason for the map, that does not appear, also the two other appeared only have appeared, after I published them to public, it has not worked with "friends" or "private").

We played these 2 maps several time in the last weeks. Today, we also made a game with one of these maps. After this game, I wanted to host another game with this map. While I was waiting for my mate, the game crashed with an error.

After I have started the game again, our 2 maps are not there. They have disappeared. And when I now search the maps to download them again, I cannot find them. It seems, that they have been deleted by EA or steam or somebody else.

The maps are still in my RA maps directory on my PC, so I can try to upload them again, but I want to know, what is the problem.

    @Dieplinde1969 Just a quick note; there were issues with the synchronisation between the Steam Workshop and the game's servers, but they were looked into and fixed somewhere around the 15th of January.

    So if you re-publish maps that didn't get uploaded correctly due to this, you can reupload them now to get them synced correctly, making them usable in multiplayer.


    That said, I have no idea what that game crash would be caused by, or why it would cause maps to be deleted.

    Thank you for your reply.

    I forgot to say, that my problem was solved automatically. A few days later, my disappeared maps were already under my user defined maps.

    Maybe it has to do with the fix around the 15th of January.

    In the next days I will try a reupload with the map, which caused problems and has never appeared before.
