Let me say I dont care about how the developrs support themselves or what EAs expectations are. If you want to fight back, you stop buying and you convince others to stop buying.
These so called games are set up in rhe same way as a slot machine. Many apps from other companies are set up in this same predatory way. These games abuse the Dopamine system in humans. Street drugs do this same thing. Do not forget that EA is the enemy. When you are playing someone in the game you may view them as the enemy. They are more like a casual competitor. Its EA and their drive to convince you into making purchases that are the true villian.
It sounds like you care. :D
If it sounds like I give a da*n now, just wait. You see, many of my complaints will never be fixed. Ive attacked the fundamental ways EA is using to try and exploit money from people. This is playing out like another EA property. Star wars galaxy of heroes. One thing that turned me off to the game was the continued ridiculously overpriced shards cards bits whatever you want to call them. These games just parcel out a few morsels. They give you quite a bit in the beginning to get you hooked. Once you are emotionally involved, they start trying to reel you in. They come up with ways to frustrate players into making purchases.
Im thinking of sending a letter to my state representatives along with my state attorney general. EA needs to be investigated by state and federal agencies. They have gotten away with too much for too long.
Most people don't have the right resources but, I do. So, I will be using these resources to bring Electronic Arts to heel.
- 7 years agoThrow the sh t at EA as much as the amount of sh t they throw at us.
And if you don't like unit prices, DON'T BUY UNITS. Or don't pay anything at all. If you can't enjoy game without paying, don't play it. Simple?
Actually I find some bundles at the store being far better value than crates, especially ones with cards. Avoid.
