NOD mission score screen plays wrong music track.

It plays the GDI track instead of the NOD track. (The shorter one without the fanfare-like intro.) The Windows 95 game used an alternative rock track.

  • As an aside, completing the campaign traditionally had a special remix track. This doesn't play either.

That wasn't "traditionally", actually. I added that in the C&C95 patch I made. The track came from Frank Klepacki's website and was intended as credits track for the expansion, but since the Covert Ops are just loose missions there was no real way to put that into the game.

Note, the original game also didn't have the Nod-specific score and map music, though. Those were in the game files of the DOS game, but never implemented. My patch added that too.

But since they indeed implemented the Nod-specific map music, I'm really not sure why the Nod score music wasn't also used.

Yeah I don't remember it being in the DOS version but definitely do on W95. (Including the current W95 build I've still got lurking.)

All of these tweaks are nice touches though. 🙂

3rd one you probably did was the GDI score music uses the track with the fanfare style intro.
