Got the solution:
Just create a .reg file, say RA95.reg (with something like notepad or "crimson editor")
Add the following: (for 32 and 64 bit windows)
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\DirectDraw\Compatibility\RA95]
"Name"="RA95.exe"
"Flags"=hex:00,08,00,00
"ID"=dword:34159303
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\DirectDraw\Compatibility\RA95]
"Name"="RA95.exe"
"Flags"=hex:00,08,00,00
"ID"=dword:34159303
Now, before executing the reg file, start the Red Alert game, then exit again as normal.
Then type regedit in the RUN command, and search in the registry for the following:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\DirectDraw\MostRecentApplication
The Name tag should be RA95.exe
Now copy the data value from the ID tag (example 34159303) - yours might be different
and paste it to your reg file (as mentioned above)
Save then double click to import these to the registry.
Then try the ORIGIN RA game again.
