Patch 1.09 for Kane's Wrath

Preface this with .... this all use to work, for years. I had to wipe my hard drive and reinstall everything.

Downloaded and installed ORIGIN, and downloaded my Command & Conquer, specifically Kane's Wrath. It downloads and installs with version 1.20, and plays fine that way.

HOWEVER, the latest patch is 1.09. Whenever I download and install it (from the link supplied by EA), I get the error after inst1llang, "Patch Error. Existing game files may have been modified. You should reinstall the game from CD/DVD"

After 3-different chat sessions yesterday with 3-different EA Game Advisors, it still does not work. I have tried everything they have suggested. Among include disabling firewalls and virus protection. CLEAN BOOT. Downloading REVO UNINSTALLER, and completely uninstalling game and ORIGIN, and starting all over. Removing all the ORIGIN CACHE files.

I'm at a loss, and really haven't the time to keep chatting and not getting the correct answers. SO, I'm turning to the Help Center, in hopes of finding something who has the REAL solution to this.

My operating system is the same, Windows 7 Professional 64bit, with 8GB RAM. It worked (can't remember how I got it,  but I had it), before.

SUGGESTIONS?????

    All of the Origin versions come pre-patched to the last version.

    Kane's Wrath never got a v1.09. That's Tiberium Wars. The latest version of Kane's Wrath is 1.02.

    Thank you for your reply.

    My mistake, it just seems to play a little different, AND I don't remember the splash screen that comes up every time I open it. In fact I know it didn't, but maybe that is some other tweak I can't remember.

    I appreciate the reply though.
