Yes, I have tried many methods, even the above method, I still have the same error. This happen everytime when the installation reaches 100%, and just before 100%, it gives me the datgen.exe error, and get an installation error code, and fails.
So, can you give me the exact error and the error code.

1628: Failed to complete installation.
N.B. This happen both C&C General + Zero Hour

And can you find that file manually?
When the answer is no, then try to delete all the files at the TEMP-folder and then try to install again.
- It seems it is the registry key problem, the thing is, I tried to deleted all the files I can, but it seems doesn't work at all. Every time when I tried to reinstall it again, it always happened the same thing. And now I don't have a clue what to do now. Is there a way to fix the error?
