Proof of a Cheater

To those of you who say that cheating doesn't exist. Pay particular attention to after the second missile. Watch how fast his money keeps going up and the amount of tanks he puts out all at once when he sees that he's losing.

This happens all the time and I get my rear handed to me. Luckily I beat him but this crap has to stop EA.

I apologize for the crappy video. His name is Frilledflaya.

  • Alright, as a disclaimer, I watched the entire video. (I don't recommend doing this on pc, since the video is sideways, but my neck will recover)

Nothing crazy going on in this video. 2 concepts you don't seem to understand, so let me shed some light on them.

Population Cap: This is the bar with the little man running on it. As you build units, this bar fills and shifts from green to yellow to red. Green is almost instant rebuild, yellow is a short time and red is a long wait. As you build units, this bar fills, slowing your production. As you lose units, this bar empties allowing you to replace lost units. So if you lose units constantly, you can rebuild constantly. This bar slowly opens up over the course of the game to allow you to keep more units on the field at once with rebuilds.

Next is income. This ramps up over the course of the game. At first it is a crawl, but around the time the first nuke usually goes off it jumps to the next stage. Basically if you don't have a harv, at this point in the game you get an income close to if you did have a harv. If you do have a harv, you get close to an income as if you had started the game with double harv. This allows you to build more expensive units freely for the 2nd and 3rd nuke. I believe income does 1 more ramp around the time the 2nd nuke usually goes off. This is how players who are teching with double harvs can just build a seemingly endless amount.

So A) You accuse him of cheating due to his income, but his income is the exact same speed as yours. Not sure if you noticed. Only difference was he wasn't spending as much as you and was banking it for some unknown reason since he didn't have tech.

    B) You accuse him of building too quickly, but he never exceeded his pop cap bar once in the entire video.

I'm open to rebuttal, or feel free to ask me questions if any of my points were unclear, but for me, this is a clear cut case caused by not fully understanding the mechanics of the game. Not completely your fault mind you, the game does a poor job explaining both of these points. But you should have noticed your incomes were identical in your own video.
  • You won the battle but his pop cap never broke five units the idea was he was going to tank rushyour base but once you brought out the tech it was his only option you didn’t have visual on his base because of sight limit but...only cheat would have been if you ion cannon didn’t bust his tanks to nothing

  • I wasn't aware that later in the game you could pump out units faster. I stand corrected.

  • I just played a game and won if you watch the replay and then it registered as a loss for me. This has happened repeatedly and EA has done nothing. I'm losing when I win.

Did you try reinstall? It often happens if you do update instead of reinstall.

Before you try a reinstall please please PLEASE link your account! If you don't, you will lose it permanently! But yes, the fix for a desynch is a reinstall. What is happening is your game failed to get an updated value for a unit, so the server thinks you are cheating and no longer takes your games results as valid, instead only using theirs.
