RA2 & Yuris revenge - No Sound - No audio

Hey guys, 

I bought the stupid bundle Ultimate Collection... worst gaming week of my life!

Finally got RA2 working after going through all the patches, writing .ini files, advice etc.

Now it has no sound and I want to jab pins in my eyes. 

I'm running the piece of crap Windows 10, which no longer supports you geeking around with hardware acceleration for audio (one solution).

When I run the wrong resolution in windows, the game starts, you cant see the full screen, but it then has sound!

Sound works online through the CNCnet. 

No sound on any videos, in game, no midi, not on intro.

I had this problem with RA original but cant remember how to fix it... please help, I'm so sad :'( 

Same for Yuris revenge.

    Can you tell us all the modifications that you made to the game? Probably one of them is causing your issue? Are you using headphones?

    I’m having this same issue.   No sound at all.  Using hdmi but also no sound with headphones.

    @Ksmack101 In general, for RA2, the solution is to install the CnCNet installer. It's normally meant for online play, but it contains a bunch of fixes that apply to the game in general and have nothing to do with the online play part.

    Do note that CnCNet's own game launcher is mainly meant for online play. So don't use it if you just want to play the game offline; simply install the pack and then launch the game normally after that.
