Unfortunately I am now in the middle of downloading the dame again and cannot test this out. A user in another forum has suggested this and some others have confirmed it will work, wish I hadn't uninstalled it now if this was an easy workaround.

@NOJOTEK Many thanks, it worked for me, I think it would for other people too. So the problem it's the overlay... I will continue my nostalgic campaign thanks to you. Hope EA will fix this anyway.
