@larrymollett If you try running a game in Windows 7 compatibility mode, does that help? If not, try disabling Origin in-Game. 

To run in compatibility mode navigate to the game's .exe file, right-click it and choose Properties. Then choose the Compatibility tab and set the appropriate mode. Apply the changes and try again. 

The files will be in C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games, check the folder for your individual game. 

To turn off Origin In-Game, click Origin in the top left of the client, then Application Settings. Check the Origin In Game tab then uncheck the relevant box.
