I am also unable to select it. The box is greyed out as is the Play Button when I try to play the game from the Origin client.

It's the launcher getting stuck that causes all this. This, in turn, makes Origin think the game is running, and thus you can't change its settings.

So if the button is greyed out, restart your PC, and then go to the options of the game BEFORE trying to launch it.
