I assume you mean 16 colour, not 16-bit colour? 16-bit colour means 2¹⁶ colours, meaning 65536 colours. You probably wouldn't even notice the difference between true colour and a 16-bit colour game.
Heck, RA1 is an eight-bit colour game anyway. 16-bit would be an upgrade 😞
