Ah, I see. Seems it all ends up on the same server anyway. GameReplays seems to have a very nice guide on it all.
The Gentool website is giving me "malicious programs" warnings from Chrome. I wonder if their site got viruses, or if it's just because their tool messes around in the memory of a running program, like some viruses do. I remember the Ares/Syringe project for RA2 had trouble with that kind of blocking too...

i opened it in chrome and firefox without problems and i have updated my antivirus and open firewall
but it happened with one of my friends too
don't know the reason O.o

Gentool is a program that modifies the working memory of a running program to add its enhancements to the game. This is pretty much the same method used by malware and viruses to do malicious things, so virus scanners have a tendency to detect the kind of code that does stuff like that, and immediately mark it as "malicious program".
So, I'm fairly sure there is nothing to worry about here.
