Re: Update 1.6 Notes

Seems like the artists at Redwood have pretty limited capabilities. Reguarding the commander skins, non of the commander's posture have been changed and we will mostly see the skins at the match loading screens. I believe that nowdays, if someone wants to keep up an F2P game with microtranzaction purchases, than at least 20% of the employees needs to be artists, who work on the visuals.

Overly positive expectations from EA are nonsense at this point.

Some of other changes are pretty useful, but not amazing.

    Has the update occurred yet? I want to see how I could unlock the skins, some look nice, others are simply average. As if you dressed the person in a different set of clothes that doesn't suit them.

    I had mine updated about 3 hours ago. It automatically updated on my phone, then 1 hour later, I updated it on the emulator. It seems apps can't update on the background if the emulator is closed.

    Also why was Colonel Jackson's first costume available for 1 credit? It seems more reasonable if it was 1000 credits.

    Really? You *want* it to be more expensive? It's obviously meant as an incentive to buy more.

    The update is great. Especially the change to the clone chambers. 30 battles for every 24h hours was a bit of a chore.

    What I meant by "seems reasonable to be 1000 credits" is that I see it too cheap. It was simply close to being free. I don't understand why and I would want an explanation as to why its 1 credit. They should have made it 0 credits so its more worth it.

    Cloning chamber is nice, but the bounties are not. The game should have let us decide between a rare crate and 2500 credits. At least you could get either whenever you want.

    Deleted the game, become so pay to play it’s not even fun. Higher ranked stuff way too OP. Just another scam game

  • i found out not only me but also many players are now spamming sandstorm and disruptor as both GDI unit are so insanely powerful but also very cheap. I suggest to increase the price for both units to avoid game become boring with many players spamming those units, Sandstorm consider 2nd powerful unit in GDI as Disruptor is the most powerful unit to destroy the base so by increase the price, players should not be able to spam both units every time they play the game. Players should use variety of units instead spamming powerful units all the time

    suggest price :

    Sandstorm = 180 tib

    Disruptor = 160 tib

    Last two posts made me laugh. Don’t let them get the disrupters and sandstorms out and they won’t be a problem. Otherwise you better have tech of your own to counter the first one that the player builds.

    Here's a tip for all players. Stop them from teching by disrupting their economy. Attack the harvesters. Focus on it whilst leaving 1 or 2 units across the pads. Be sure to destroy anything that tries to defend the harvester. If you do this right, the enemy can't tech, so no pesky sandstorm, no annoying rock worms, no troublesome centurions and no dreadful disruptor. I often do this in both my mock army (I steal the 1st missile then go kamikazi on the harvesters and their units, I don't care about the pads anymore after that) and my serious army. I pressure his economy so he can't tech and I win. If done correctly, your enemy would be too focused on his harvesters and he can't use the pads cause his units are dying before they can reach it.

    Well, against a good Tech player that is easier said than done, isn't it? There are some who very fiercely fight for the first missile, so you might well mistake them for Aggro players.

  • @Mister_CracYep. I run into those at Diamond and Masters. They are successful with missiles and shockwaves to prevent you from getting at their double harvester. After the first tech comes out, it’s lights out for you because they know how to pair them right. Air can’t reach them and vehicles get destroyed. Not much you can do with your cheap units afterwards unless they make a mistake.

    Sometimes they don’t even bother with the first missile. It’s purely harvester defense and afterwards they win 2 in a row.

    @EinarThePillager From crates, you always get more cards, than credits needed to use them up, so F2P players need credits.

    If someone spends money on the game and they want cards, they can make sure to get cards with their investment. It is just that simple.

    Don't overcomplicate it for no reason!

    @EinarThePillager Agreed after lvl 60 and units at 10 plus with more units in the makes its getting expensive and taking longer to lvl up with out ptp I liked when u got a game for $60 for ur system and played not stuck to just other players or limited on 6 of 33 units to use and only have x amount at a time. Could build a base send out a tanker and start another base. Build up ur army then attack.

    Don't see any mention of the changes to missile charge times.. Whole game is on turbo mode now, kinda sucks!!

  • I have spent all of $9.99 in a full 7 months of playing this finely crafted game.

    And I pretty much bought a special offer I could not resist. I MOSTLY justified the purchase as a fair payment to the developers for playing the game as much as I do

    As far as Pay to Play whiners...  I find the progress with which my unit levels have grown has matched my skill progress quite closely.

    It's hard to believe that those who complain about about spamming or those who pay to level up can actually compete in leagues that are out of their real skill level.

    As some replies have noted...  You need TO LEARN how to stop the player who's strategy is get out  one or two disrupters.  You may also be easily beat by 5 bike squads and a laser troop.?

    I have learned those lessons by playing.  And the $10 I spent was not in ANY way part of those lessons.

    If one  had all level 13 units...

    Without true mastery of the gameplay

    The Tiberium League is an impossible accomplishment.

    Right now, rivals race has occurred and I would like to drop out early on both my accounts cause I will be out of town tomorrow for like 2 to 3 days. I don't like competing against other players to climb the furthest. Even if I wasn't out of town, I still don't like competing, or at least trying to win every match I face.

    It has been this way since Update 1.5.
