There is no such thing called chem damage. Chem strong vs infantry that’s it. Just like any other units strong vs infantry, regardless of what comes out of their gun.
Same reason why laser, cannon, rocket, grenade are weak against infantry - there is no realistic reference.

There actually is. Just like fire damage and bullet damage are different. It not just simply “infantry” damage.
Well I believe the game only classifies normal damage and tiberium damage and the latter is immune by non-infantries and infantries with immunity as there is no other immunity type in the game.
