Same happened to me. I was at 1499 points. 1 left to be promoted and after winning I ended up.loosing 18 points. So frustrating.

And again it happened..at this point I'm thinking of quitting the game. It's tough enough as it is and if I keep losing whenever I win there is no point in playing.
