Red alert 1 and 2. FFS why doesnt it work properly?

My games work 5-10 mins then they shut down or freeze. Wtf is going on, Dungeon keeper didnt work at all, if you are releasing these new versions of your games, atleast make sure they are working !!!!!!

Red Alert 2:
The graphics system patch DDWrapper is known to solve some graphics issues on RA2.
Download the zip file and extract "ddraw.dll" and "aqrit.cfg" into your game folder. Then, open the configuration file "aqrit.cfg" in Notepad, change the "ForceDirectDrawEmulation" option to 1, save the file, and the game should work.
Alternatively, you could try downloading CnCNet online which fixes the compatibility problems for you.

AFAIK, those are still 1996 and 1997 releases, mostly unchanged, so you must use the Compatibility settings for Windows95 / 98, or else something like DOSbox. There's a pinned FAQ atop the forum in here. What does it tell you?

DOSBox can't help here, by the way... these are still the Windows versions of the games (in fact, for C&C1 that's actually the 1997 "Gold" Win95 re-release of the game)
