Red Alert 2 display issues

Question

Hello, all. My issue currently is, when I start Red Alert 2, I get audio, but no video, and a blank main menu. Yesterday I was able to fiddle around with settings, run as administrator all .exe files, detect/format displays, etc., and was able to temporarily get the game to play correctly. Today, I came back to play again, only to find the exact same error persisting. All of my attempts to repeat my fix have failed. Does anyone know a way to fix this issue permanently?

There are a few things you can do to help RA2 to run better:

Make sure to disable Origin In Game overlay in the Origin settings for the game
Tweaking certain compatibility modes&nbsp;can help a lot
Install&nbsp;Bibber's fixed game launchers
Some people have reported this tutorial&nbsp;fixing issues with the menus not appearing, and I've seen the same solution posted as fix for the Black Screen thing.
This is another excellent video tutorial. I strongly advice watching this one; it cover a very wide array of problems in the game's settings, the user rights, and even Windows system settings that may cause problems.
