Red alert 2 does not start up on windows 11

Hi,

I downloaded the ultimate pack as i wish to play Red Alert 2 again. But i cannot seem to get it started.

I tried everything as described from :

After clicking the icon to start the game, I see briefly in a flash a grey window pop up (something from EA) and then back to my desktop. Nothing happening.

I tried starting up through the EA interface and also using the patch as above without the EA interface. Same thing happening...

Any updated tips on getting RA2 to start up?

    Same issue here!  Red Alert 2 / Yuri's Revenge installs, but when clicking to open the game from the EA app, it does not launch anything. A brief flash and nothing happens.

    It's unfortunate, as I just signed up for GamePass yesterday.

    well quick way to fix it is to downliad the cncnet files for RA2 now the game works without trouble.

    Hi,  the thing is, i want to play yuri also in single player, and this just doesnt seem to start, the mulitplayer yuri is working though via cncnet indeed.

    install files from cncnet then run CnCNetYRLauncher on right side click on campaign this will let you play ra2 and yuri 

    if it still doesnt start click on options and change the video driver . as cncnet  installer gives you extra options.
