Still waiting on a fix for this - I have the boxed game from when it was first released and that worked fine under windows 7 - now I have upgraded to Windows 10 and am trying to run the Origin version of the game and get a Fatal String error message on both RA2 and RA2:YR. Any help from EA on their own forums for a game breaking issue would be appreciated. (Listed my PC specs below incase they might be of importance)

Windows 10 (most up to date release)
The error is related to the lack of admin rights, the games fail to register a .dll file.
Run the games as admin and it should work.
I made a tool once that adds the needed registry key, you can give it a try if you want: http://downloads.cncnet.org/Games/TiberianSun/TiberianSunDllFix.exe (Works for Tiberian Sun and Red Alert 2)
