Red Alert 2 won't start

Hello.

I just bought this bundle and now I'm having troubles trying to launch Red Alert 2. The game just won't start. The launcher shows up and then I click either on original game or on Yuri's Revenge with absolutely no reaction.

I'm running Win8.1x64 and I already tried various compatability modes with no result. Can someone help me?

    I believe some people got around this by opening the Origin game settings for the game (not exactly sure where/how, and can't test it right now) and checking some "don't use origin for this game" option, or something like that.
