When I run either of these games the screen is just black. I can hear the sound and the game is running but there is no image on the screen whatsoever. I've tried uninstalling and clean installing the game.
Graphics drivers etc are all updated. I'm using a windows 10 laptop. Acer V Nitro Black Edition.

Try playing using windowed mode. Also enable windows xp service pack 2 in compatibility mode

1. start Origin and login.
2.find the game in My Games.
3.right-click on the game/CAS Demo and choose Game Properties.
4.under Command Line Arguments add the following text: -w und and click Apply.
And now you start the game in windowed mod.😉

Nothing work . you just wasted my time .. i am on windows 10 . i try to run it in windowed screen . change setting to windows xp . same thing . when i choose to play either red alert 2 or yuri,s revenge its goes back to full screen and black . please don't waste other people time . everyone don't have high speed internet . it took me 4-5 hours to download cuz of low downloading speed from your server . at least give a warning .

I moved your topic. You'll get more response posting C&C issues in the actual C&C section. Mostly because, that's where I hang out 😛
Secondly... the reason the -w parameter doesn't work is because the Origin game launchers included in the Ultimate Collection games (yes, that includes the free On The House RA2/YR; it's just the version from that collection) restricts the command line parameters it actually passes on to the game to a very small set the developers actively supported.
To get around that, you need to install the custom launchers made by Bibber:
