Red Alert 2/Yuri's Revenge problems on Windows 10

Hi all, I recently downloaded my RA2/YR from the C&C Ultimate Collection onto my Windows 10 desktop and it's having a bit of issues.

I loaded up the original and had a black screen problem. I used this solution to fix that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YtwQ4qBPJMQ

Then, I was able to get into the game and started playing only to have my units randomly die in place and keeps saying "Mission Failed". I got through one mission and when it started to load the next loading screen it went to minimized to Windows, clicked on the taskbar only for it to enlarge my desktop with the music playing. Had to go to task manager and terminate the game.

How to fix these issues? I miss this game so bad! Thanks!

Also, I have not tried Yuri yet just the original RA2.

@Adamanslilgirl The "stuff randomly exploding" issue is a malfunctioning copy protection system. It can generally be fixed by reinstalling the game, and making sure the game's exe file is set to run as administrator.

@Adamanslilgirl The "stuff randomly exploding" issue is a malfunctioning copy protection system. It can generally be fixed by reinstalling the game, and making sure the game's exe file is set to run as administrator.
