Red alert 3 - network lan issue

Hello everybody! First of all, I'm not a computer specialist so please advise with some basic info. I would like to play this game with my son in multiplayer -network lan mode, but when I access network play menu, he doesn't appear in my lobby list (and the same on his pc - I don't appear in his lobby list)....So we can't play in network lan mode.
We use two different origin accounts (same game bought twice), same network, same router, windows 10 pro installed on both pc's... What setting are necessary to play it in lan?

Thanks in advance!

  • I need help as well.

I had this problem before and forgot how I fixed it before.

I am trying to play with my 2 sons.  My older son is on win10 pro.  my younger son is on steamdeck.  they can see each other and play lan.  when I go into the lobby i am alone I am on win11.

I set the ethernet to private on both windows PCs.  I am sure it is a setting on my PC but am confused how to get it working.
