red alert mac

Good morning,

I can not find where any answer has been given to those asking about Red Alert 3 for Mac.  I have purchased a copy with disc from Amazon. After loading I was asked if I wanted to install updates and did so.  Once the updates were installed I attempted to run the game and it locks-up before the intro screen goes away.  I have tried to reinstall and run several times both with and without patches installed.  I have also spend considerable time on various forums trying to find a fix with no success.

My Mac is about 3 months old, the latest version hardware and software with higher spec internals including RAM and video card.

I would be happiest if I could play the game however if it is not going to work please just tell me (us) so we can move on to something else.
