Registration Codes Failing on EA
C&C The First Decade
I was kept very busy messing around with this bundle of games when I was younger. Now, over time, the CD has been damaged and all but Red Alert 2/Yuri's Revenge and General's/General Zero Hour have survived.
I have all 7 registration codes that come in the box. They all work to register on my PC.
However, in hopes to recover my purchase with the registration codes as my savior, I tried redeeming on EA. This isn't working. None of the registration codes are accepted. This makes me very sad, as I've never had a reason to use EA before... And the one useful thing I expected to work is failing. ☹️
Fingers crossed that The First Decade isn't simply forgotten about.
Hey there @SkipSkylark
If my memory serves right, if a game is released before 2009, Origin doesn't let you redeem it. And since this bundle was released on 2006, Origin doesn't directly recognize it or the games on it. But you may have some luck if you go to the EA Support and ask them directly if they could convert the codes of yours to your Origin instead as all of these games do exist as digital products on Origin through the 'Command & Conquer™ The Ultimate Collection' that is still available for purchase.
So here's the link to the support : https://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/
From top right, choose your region, and log in to the site. Then choose 'Origin' as your game, 'PC' as platform, 'Codes and promotions' for example as a topic and 'invalid code' as an issue. Then click 'Select contact option' which should be a blue button visible at the bottom. Try and get yourself to the Live chat as it would probably be easiest to paste the codes there and possibly show images of the box you got.
If you got any issues contacting the support or any further questions related to it, here's a link for that : http://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/How-to-contact-an-Advisor-via-EA-Help/td-p/5650100
Good luck !
