Rival showdown no Scavenger Bug

Product: Command & Conquer: Rivals
Platform:Android Tablet
List the specific devices you play with (e.g. iPhone 6s Plus, Samsung Galaxy S7) Sm-t580 galaxy tab a 2016
OS Version 8.1 android

What type of issue do you have? Gameplay
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Summarize your bug hello dear sir or madam I can play this game because I download the apk , Google play store doesnt support my device officially. the "showdown" event always advertises explicitly with no scavengers, yet I am always able to put scavengers on the field. I would suppose and expect the scavengers are not able to be build, is it a guideline, or is it a a bug?

    This bug is misstated.

    Scavengers are generating revenue in the showdown event.

    I recently shared and favorited a match where my opponent is both aware and using the bug to his advantage.

    This has been on every single showdown except the very first one, stuff like this is what gives this game a bad rep, like nobody even tested the events it seems. This bug have been reported a million times by now. Please fix the showdown events.

    So does that Bug concern everybody or just the ones that don't Update the game via google play store? There should be no problem just running a quick update for the events like it usually does too

    Well so now I know that it is at least a guideline not to use scavengers at showdown event.

    I still say there should be an advertisement of the local electronic store with command and Conquer rivals PvP and Touchscreen Tablet pcs.

    There's so many people used to play this game 20 years ago go and don't know about the development of touch screen and Command and Conquer.

    My guess is: When the Cabal War Games event was removed/deactivated in the game, they also accidentally deactivated the code which checks the availability of Scavengers in the Showdown event. Things like this can happen. The problem is that bugs are not getting fixed anymore in this game, because EA has withdrawn almost all developers from Rivals.

    This happens for everybody. It might be that this bug does not exist yet in very old versions of this app. But with such an old version, you could not connect to the servers anymore, so you couldn't play with it.

    @Mister_Crac With bugs like that it is sadly understandable what ppl write about cc rivals. I thought this bug was an exception, yet it seems to be the rule..

    In this situation the game is partly not fit for purpose, advertising events not following up with the own guidelines.

    I still think that this game is underadvertised. The clientel is tablet pc users, i would expect a windows version but only possible via bluestacks player.

    This is no game for smartphones, i suppose it plays roughly on a small smartphone screen.

    You can easily spend loads of money on this game, so they gotta keep up with the updates and more frequent events.

    One of the events gives you actually less credits for the event battles than a normal battle.. that is unappealing.

    If ea stopped supporting cc rivals, they should not introduce new units, milking the cash cow, giving the impression of a working product.

    Rivals could have a revival, if advertised in an offer with a tablet pc for a hundred bucks( thats what my device costed)

    So i will take the no scavenger rule as a guideline, if ea doesnt follow up with the programming.

    What? it's a mobile game dude. It's ONLY for smartphones.
