at the time of writing, it was true. Yes, there have been some people that have taken scarabs into masters and even tib now. Still doesn't mean anything however, those poor souls insta-lose against top players as soon as the first scarab comes out. But fine, let's amend my statement to "Actually they are too weak. 0% pick rate in tournaments" =p

If these players with scarabs are losing so often, how did they ever make it to Master League at all? ;-)
- BattaIia7 years agoSeasoned Acemasters is a strange place. Before league resets, it was just purgatory. People with high levels but no skill got stuck here, and people with low levels and high skill would get stuck here.
Now it is a little more streamlined. But again, just because you can brute force your way, doesn't reflect a thing on that unit. during my trip through masters this month I went on a 44 game streak with my level 10 GDI. Did I find some sort of holy grail of strategy? Am I the next kane? Heck no! I just got lucky with matchmaker. And sometimes that is all it takes. Scarabs are the NOD version of the GDI MG team. If you don't understand how to counter it, it will stomp you. If you do, then it's pretty easy. Although I'd rather see scarabs any day over an MG, haha.
But I faced 3 scarab users on my blitz games this weekend and none of them made it to a pad. Easy wins which kinda makes you feel bad till you realize they are scarab users =p
