Serial Key & Update Issues

I bought Red Alert 3 from www.gametreemac.com and they provided me with an Activation Code.

There is a comma sign in this code. When I open the game and a window shows up, I press play, then the activation code needs to be inserted. After doing so, it loads for a long time and the window asking for the activation code pops up again. Keep doing this but nothng happens. I tried the actication code with an without the comma sign. Still doesnt work. I bought two copies of the game, one for my MacBook Pro and the other for my iMac. So when I used the activation code that I had earlier, it works. Maybe the provided code is wrong.

The second issue is that once I entered my old activation code and enter the game, the version of the game is old and there are no updates available, even after clicking on "updates" on the game window. So the Red Alert 3 on my iMac is a newer version and cannot play a network game with the Red Alert version I have on my MacBook Pro.

Please help!!

I am not sure I am fully grasping the details here: did you get any sort of update from the "new code" version, did you use the same downloaded client to install both?

If you didn't, it would be worth a shot, although for the activation code with the comma I would contact your retailer (it is the first time I hear of such a thing).

I see you solved the serial key issue, that's good. If you have further problems with it contact EA customer support. This update issue is an issue, I don't know how to fix it but reinstalling is worth a shot.
