You have summed it up perfectly. They know that problems like the one you describe exist, but they don't care enough to fix them.

Who told you that? No development is being done on this game anymore, except for occasional balance patches.

Does not matter to me anyways. I did as I said, stopped playing and uninstalled it. Not going back either. They lost a gamer.
Occasional balance patches? Really? That's a funny one. I beleive they do NOT know what they are doing and should change professions because if they think that play is balanced they are grossly misinformed. They are most likely very high level players and don't know it's not balanced cause they are the ones beating all lower level opponents.
