The servers are fully working i have this issue myself when starting a multiplayer game either hosting or joining a random lobby.
The servers are just painfully really slow once a game has started you will just have to wait it out till the game starts on the connecting to game server screen once a game has been started takes roughly 5-10 mins before you load into game.
Most people leave after less than a minute of waiting. I have never seen the game start personally over the last two days.
As a result, most people think that the servers are down.
It used to take 5 seconds.
The C&C team still needs to fix this and get the servers to perform as well as they did just two days ago.
I am sure that the C&C team can just revert someone's code that has been merged into the code base just a few days ago. Someone introduced a bug.
