System Requirements: CnC Remastered (Question)

I would like to know if it would be possible to run the game on Windows 7, as a long-term Fan (above 75% of my life), it would be nice to know if the game will run on my Operating System.

My System Specification:

OS: Windows 7 (64-Bit)

CPU: 4.00 GHz i7-6700K

RAM: 32GB

GPU: MSI 1070

Will it run, and if not, will an Update be released to allow it to run?

  • After having been tested, I can confirm that all aspects* of the game run without any issues on Windows 7 (64-Bit).

The game runs out-the-box without any need to change settings.

Both CnC Tiberian Dawn and CnC Red Alert work fully, as does the Map Editor supplied with the remastered game.

*Please note, none of the Online functions were tested. So while we can assume they will work, don't expect any guaranties on this.

  • OK, consider me as one of them people, I'll soon find out. 4 Hours 25 Minutes to go, then we'll know for sure if it even installs. If it installs, then presumably it should run.

I'll reiterate here what I mentioned on Twitter. While we don't officially support Windows 7, we believe the game should run with some minor issues. You're always welcome to try the game, see if it runs acceptably on your Windows 7 system, and if not apply for a refund. We certainly hope the game runs well enough that you would decide to keep the game and continue playing. Cheers.

    Hope that answers it.

We will know for sure soon enough.

So far, I am trying out the Map Editor that is supplied with this Version of the Game.

It works, though I will say the Old Version was better to use in many respects as far as building a map goes.

Though, it works fully without any issues that I've detected thus far.

My first Remastered Map is called 'A Cold Day in Hell' but it looks more like a game of Hungry Hippos.
