Tanya Dies instantly on first mish in Campaign Mode (RA2)

Subject says it all. Just bought the ultimate collection, downloaded Red Alert 2. Started Allied campaign mode, and Tanya dies instantly, failing the first mission. I could not find anything on how to fix that. Help!!!!

I realize that this was posted a couple of years ago, however I am a mahoosive fan of C&C And I got the Origin 17 games edition, I had this issue for Red Alert 2, start a new campaign Tanya would die as soon as control was handed over to you and then if you restarted the mission, she would die before you even see her.
I was able to fix this issue by going into Origin and hovering over the game so that it gives you the Play button or the info button, Click on Info then go to "game properties" on the "Details" tab and tick the "disable Origin in game for this game" not really sure as to why this worked but it did for me.
Any one in the future looking to remissness the good ol' C&C days hope this helps.

Also when you try to start the Soviet campaign , everybody just dies and your building explodes. It seems to be some sort of copy protection, but essentially it just keeps me from play a game I buyed. Annoying! Please fix it.

This is caused by the copy protection indeed, it could be caused by either a bad cd-key or a missing registry key. Did you try to re-install the game?

Having the same issue, tried reinstalling, Loved the games had older copies updating to digital seemed the right thing to do. Only seems to happen with the older games in the collection.

I got the same problem but it isn't thru Orgin it is thru the first decade.

Dont let tanya get into the water on your first go. move her somewhere else on the same land. Wait for the enemy para troopers to attack your soldiers on the other side and kill the enemy troops. After that take tanya bomb those destroyers and ENJOY!!!
