The Command and Conquer Ultimate Collection on Windows 7

I just purchased this package from Origin and I cannot play these games as I keep getting a DirectX error, even though I have the latest version of DirectX and my graphic card is more than capable of running these games.

Is there a patch or a fix that is out so that I can play the games I just purchased?

I look forward to hearing from you so I can get back to playing these games I love. I've bought several EA games in the past I have not had an issue until now, so I am hoping you can provide a solution ASAP.

So I found the soution to my problem. Instead of just going to "Hardware Devices" and updating the drivers for my ATI (AMD) video card..... I had to go to the website and download their new "AMD Catalyst Control Center" and install that.
After I did that and turned on the accelerator, made a few minor adjustments for overscan.... everything works great now.
I've only tried the 3 newest games, but they all worked without issue.
Again, this solution is specific to my brand of graphic card, but I hope it helps some of you.

I'd say try installing the Direct Runtime from microsoft since some of thos early C&C titles weren't designed for the newer versions of Direct X. Here is the link:

Done that and run it. All my Direct is up to date. It did not work.
I've done:
- the Microsoft direct updates
- tried running the launcher as Admin
- tried running the launcher in Win XP SP3 compatability mode
