The new bots are too strong!!! (sarcasm)

The bots are so OP, I have absolutely no chance against them! No matter what I do I keep loosing! You NEED to make them weaker!

No. Not at all. They are so stupid, I think a silver player is better than them. But I could ignore their stupidity, because they aren‘t supposed to play well. They should function as test dummies, so I can see how effective my units are against them.

The problem: the bots are always level 5! There is no option to enable tournament rules (ALL units set to lvl 5), so my units, which are obviously higher leveled, just take them out with ease. So this should be changed:

- add function to enable tournament rules (set all units to lvl 5), or just make it the standard

- if possible, make em smarter

K thx

  • Ideally, we could set the bot's level.  This might help with getting a little challenge if they were all level 15...

But just forcing tournament rules would be fine too I guess.

  • Honestly, it feels like this new feature was implemented by an intern and they were fired before the task was completed.

Good point. For once I would want to see the bot's stupidity fixed, not by making it smarter, but making it faster. Lets say you ordered 3 units, by the time your 3rd unit comes out, your enemy has around 5 to 6 units. They would be thrown to all pads and your harvester. If you already have control of the pads, you may as well survive a flurry of random units. Right now the bot should be used as a test to see what units your deck would struggle against.

  • Didn't they state that these were for testing new units? When you get out a 5 level Scavenger etc then this is a playfield where you can test them out. They never said they add AI to give you a challenge. it's more like a sandbox mode.

  • @incia yes they are supposed to act as dummies so you test out your comps. But they are level 5 constantly, so I can‘t really judge how effective my comp is. They need to add the option to set my levels to level 5, too.
