@TwilightBringer It's just the way it has always worked sadly with 99% of all games on 99% of all platforms. I don't fully understand to be honest what you mean with your last comment 🙂 Can you maybe explain yourself a bit more?

I don't think I can, but I was just wanting to not go through any online service for the game. Like in the older days, when instead of playing a game through steam, origin, battle net, etc you just play it on your PC itself, and can later choose to play through online which would be through the current owners of said game, under they're online rules for the multiplayer portion of the game. I would prefer actually owning the license to my game and can choose what to do with it, and not a license to view a game on a single channel, the same way you own a book or a board game in real life. That is what I meant by just playing it on my PC itself.
