It happened again. My misslile squad is supposed to be level 12 now, but it shows level 11 while in battle or setting up for battle
In which league are you playing? Platinum, Diamond, Master, something else?
Every league has a level cap. When you play in Diamond League for example, your units will be reduced to level 11 if they are higher than that. This is not an error but working as intended.

A regular battle happens in a League. For example, I play in Master League right now. Whenever I start a regular battle as GDI or Nod from the front screen of the game, I will be playing against somebody else who is also in Master League. Exceptions can be made at the very low or at the very high end of a league, then you will sometimes get opponents from the next lower or next higher league.
Thanks for the help. I now see the box in the upper right hand corner that says Unit Level Cap. I thought you were talking about an Event Challenge only. I see now, thanks for replying
