There's three separate match types happening during the Launch Celebration.
1. Super Fan vs. Star (with Alvaro, Chief Pat and OJ going up against their fans) in a series of matches. There will be one Star winner and one Super Fan winner, based on the number of victories earned. Think of these as fun and exciting matches, not the competitive showcase
2. NickAtNyte vs. MOLT in a 'grudge match.' These two have a friendly rivalry that they'll be bringing to Rivals matches
3. Competitive Showcase with matches from some of our top leaderboard players: AliciaDestiny, 13lade, JadeXyan and IraqiZorro. All four are super tough competitors and any one of them could win for their region 🙂
The four competitors in bullet 3 are the only ones who are competing for the regional rewards. 13lade and Molt won't face each other during the Launch Celebration.
Hopefully this clears up some of the confusion as to who is facing who, especially for the regional rewards 🙂
How can I get the Region rewards for the Launxh celebration?
EA Staff (Retired)The Rivals Launch Celebration bundle has been distributed to players in the Americas quite yet. When it is, it will be sent out via the in-game inbox message system. You will need to open and claim the reward through that inbox message.
The plan is to send out the message after all players have patched to Update 1.3, which should be tomorrow afternoon.
