What are all the counters to Zone troopers/Cyborgs?

Aside from these:

1: Kill enemy economy (sometimes you fail to do this, and failing the game because of this everytime is harsh)

2: Flame/Chock troopers (cost 40) Best answer?

-

3: Flame tanks/heavily microed Disruptor tanks (110/120) (Not really cost effective hard counter)

4: Catalyst Missile/Ion Cannon (90/150) (Not really cost effective hard counter)

Militants fail, cost effectively we can't have 120 worth of cost militants to overpower a single zone trooper (I still think zones would win versus 12 militants).

I tried snipers, 2 Sniper squads still can't kill a zone trooper fast enough, matter of fact it seems to auto-heal faster then 1 sniper do DPS.

Any air fails. They fall down like a *... in the wind.

    Still a bit pricy at 100, do they even do a good job?

    I'm now experimenting with Wolverine/Widowmakers, they seem alright I guess...

    flame/chem work great, or 2 cyberwheels at the same time will wreck them. Rifles/Militants CAN work, but you need like 3 of them which is just unrealistic. Orca Bomber and Inferno do decently well considering their cost. If you can distract them with something else, chem buggies can burst them down or chase them down if they run. MG squads do well. Snipers should do well, surprised your having issues. Is it a level issue? and lastly, chems are the cheapest and best unit to take them down.

    Yeah, just unlocked Snipers, mine was at 5, while I think his Zones were at 8-9. but still, thinking it's a hard-counter and they couldn't even kill one Zone.
    I've now leveled my snipers to 7, will try again.

    EDIT: Cyberwheels work? That's really surprisingly as they seem to die to everything... even to Rocket Squads.

    they die to 1 shot, but zones and cyborgs have slightly reduced fire rate, but increased damage, so each shot is overkill. And yea, counters stop working with a 4+ level difference. Your 7's should be fine, but if you were equal, it would sting quite a bit

    yea, plenty of tech options to deal with tech infantry as well.

    Really? Two cyberwheels are barely enough to kill one Missile Trooper squad. I would have thought that it looks worse still when going against Zones/Cyborgs 🤔

    Absolutely. Of course, when you bring your Flames then they run away like the cowards they are and it's Hello Wolverine... :-(
