The patch will contain only balance adjustments and bugfixes. Maybe some more emotes and a new unit. Because why implement new features if they don‘t make any money? (That‘s the reason why we don‘t have often requested features sadly... Of course some usefull things get implemented, like the cloning chamber, but if there is no profit to be made, a feature will most likely not be added... Remember the request to split alliance chat into regular messages and card requests? This has been requested literally since the beginning and we still don‘t have it...)

Perhaps there is a little bit of common sense left in them still. Hope springs eternal!

I bet the devs do care about the game a lot and want to add more features. But the money hungry CEO of EA tell them what they can/cannot do. „Does a new feature bring us money? No? Well, guess you can‘t implement that!“
Remember C&C 3/Red Alert 3 (or C&C 4, yikes...)? EA rushed the poor devs. They had only about a year to finish the games. EA wants to collect money ASAP, quality is secondary priority. Blizzard for example doesn‘t do this. They give the devs as much time as they need. How long was Starcraft 2 in development? It was at least 5 years, and they didn‘t stop patching to this day. EA should focus on their customers more.
C&C 1 and Red Alert 1 remastered are on their way. Let‘s see if EA does things right this time...
