I saw something on here about them having to have 200 more medals than you for it to be a Challenge Match. Which I think is ridiculous. But maybe that’s why. Tough break man.

Hi @Mister_Crac,
Challenge Battles aren't determined by the highest unit level; it is determined by the average unit level. When you look at the average level for your and your opponent, they are really close. Because the averages are within 1.5 levels, you won't get a Challenge Battle for higher leveled unit.
And for medals, your opponent needs to be more than 200 medals higher than you. Although this player is in Tiberium, it is possible that their medal count is less than 200 higher than yours.
@EA_dance210 I have a question, does the commander level affect your average army level or not?
- I get what the system is but this system needs to be revamped. Who cares about medals? That shouldn’t be a determining factor at all. The system should only take unit levels into consideration. If it’s above 2 that should trigger a challenge battle.
In Masters, I’m facing opponents with unit levels sometimes 3 above mine. Even normal counters aren’t working unless you use twice the amount.
For example, if I have level 8 riflemen, 2 sets takes out a zone trooper quickly. But when the zone trooper is at a level 11 going against my riflemen, you need 3 to 4 sets of riflemen and that’s pretty impossible to do with how the maps are configured.
This has to be fixed. Scrap the medals. Focus solely on unit levels.
