Will there be "Energy" in final released product?

In the upper right corner of the home page UI, next to the in game currency, there is an unsettling space. I have been enjoying this game thoroughly and have learned much about the strategies through repetition of gameplay and grinding matches.

Something commonplace in mobile games is an Energy system which gates you off from playing the game for periods of time unless you are willing to spend premium currency in order to replenish said Energy.

Simple question, will such a system be making an appearance in the final product?
