Yuri's Revenge error

I recently downloaded the Command and Conquer Ultimate collection for my windows 10 laptop, after playing RA2 for a while I went to play Yuri's Revenge. However upon playing it I noticed three problems. 

The first of which was that the video clips would be glitching and would be off center of my screen.
The second was that my game would freeze mid level and lose all my progress during the scenario.

The last was the one that everyone talks about. It says, "Error- Unable to set the Video Mode."

Take note I played the first three to four levels of the game in Yuri's Revenge and it worked fine. I logged in today and it gave me that error. I looked it up and did everything everyone said to do and nothing worked. Can someone put a detailed path to how to do it, because nothing has worked or to a video that tells you. My screen resolution is 1024x768 and Idk what is wrong with it. Plz help.

    The main advice I give people nowadays on Red Alert 2 / Yuri's Revenge is just to install the CnCNet online play installer for RA2/YR on it. Even if you're not interested in online play, it comes with a bunch of automatic fixes. It should automatically take care of the "black screen" issue, and has a configuration tool that allows further tweaking of the game's settings.
