1.02 Update/Patch

Hi all,

Anyone have any idea what this new patch is for?

I'm on ps3, just turned it on and had to install a 15mb patch, does it fix the scavenger bot glitch?? PLEASE fix the bot glitch!!

I read from some other sources that is might fix the "ammo glitch" or that it could be a fix for the hardcore mode USB exploit, I haven't experienced any ammo glitches personally, but I wouldn't mind the hardcore loophole to be patched, I did DS2 on hardcore and although you could back up your saves for DS2 the structure of HC mode in DS2 made backing up for HC pointless, it is a shame that HC mode for Dead Space 3 wasn't designed like that as well, but with the new save system it makes it impossible to police.

Personally I think where's the fun in doing hardcore mode if your just gonna overwrite your save? And what happens to your bragging rights for completing it legitimately when there's players out there who may have died 50+ times but just reloaded their saves? So I hope there is a fix for HC mode, but the only possible solution would be copyrighting the save file, but even then PlayStation+Plus users can still back up their save to PSN and download it again once every 24 hours.

Ultimately though I'm only interested in one thing, was this patch meant to fix the missing scavenger bots problem, and if not, what is it for?
