BUG IN KEYBINDING
Okay, so is anyone else having issues with the keybinding in the Dead Space remake? I just got rid of certain keys and replaced them elsewhere; an example is that I got rid of the quick health use and re-binded F to the rig map, but whenever I press F, I both heal AND use the map. So it seems like, even if I were to unbind or rebind the keys with something else, the original default layout is still present.
Notice how I am using the locator when I clearly don't have it present in my button layout and it's overlapping with my RIG.
Hi @cypherxiv can we try the following steps and check if this continues?
- Make sure the game is installed on an internal SSD (versus HDD or external SSD connected via USB)
- Run the System File Checker tool then Check for Windows and GPU updates
- EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)
- Repair Games (Go to My Collection > Select the tile Dots > Repair)
- Put your device in a Clean Boot then launch the game
