Cannot launch Dead Space

Keep getting Missing DLL: {d3dx9_38.dll} error:0x7E when I attempt to launch Dead Space. I have updated all software and drivers. Downloaded the game again after the updates and still get this error. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

    Hey @Bernstinebears3 wanted to see if this was still happening, there should be a folder location from where you installed the game > then a folder called "_installer" >  then a folder "VC"

    In here you should have VCredist you can run, try running these to see if they didn't install correctly or may need to be repaired.

    Do you have any other suggestions as i tried this restarted my computer and the game still gave me that same error code.
