Deadspace 3 won't activate?

I don't know why this game even needed re-activation, it was already installed and working. I haven't been able to activate it for a long time, so this isn't going to fix itself.

I bought this game on EA Origin back when it came out, and it's not fair that I can no longer play the game I paid for, because of unnecessary product activation schemes. I mean, what more should they need? I'm signing into my EA account with the EA APP client.

Anybody else having this problem, or found a solution? This is all I get (screenshot)

    I don't see an edit button... but I should mention that I have tried removing and re-downloading/installing from scratch and also repairing/verifying files.

    Yes, I just recently bought this on Steam but gave been unable to play on PC. It does work on Steam Deck but I've been wanting to play it on a bigger screen. 

    Love this game!

    Hey many are experiencing this issue with ds3  and other ea games not working both on pc and steam decks since you mentioned it worked for yours can you share what you did to get it working? Me and many others would greatly appreciate it ill share your info to forums anything helps.
