Dead Space 2 / You Don't Own This Game

I tried to submit a ticket but that's been deliberately made very difficult.

The EA app does recognize that I have the relevant CD key activated for Dead Space 2, but in terms of downloading it and installing it it's just kicking out with 'we've canceled the download because you don't own this game'. Even though the library has it, the key is tied to it, etc.

What's my next step?

    Edit - I tried clearing the cache and reinstalling the app already.

    HALP :(

    I got into a chat and after a couple hours of them telling me to try different things nothing changed. Still same error. The only real progress was they pointed me to the logs and the logs continue to repeat this.

    slug=[dead-space-2] trigger=[] errorCode=[EntitlementNotFoundAfterRefresh] errorDetail=[Entitlement not found after reload retries.]]

    I’m having the same issue with Dead Space 2. The EA app shows “Standard Edition owned” and over 14 hours of playtime, but refuses to download it, claiming I don’t own the game. I’ve installed and played it several times before, and I also own the physical PC version.

    I’ve emailed EA Support with screenshots. Dead Space 2 wasn’t even available in the support form’s mandatory game selection, so I couldn’t submit a ticket there.

    You’re definitely not the only one experiencing this. I’ll update this thread if I get a useful response from EA.
